Its been WAY to long...

I don't even know how I am going to catch up with what we have been doing, so I am just going to start with whats been going on recently.
Lyrik is 9 1/2 already and is doing great in the 4th grade. She loves her teacher and is learning so much! She loves learning about the Indians and reading books about animals. She is still in ballet and was so happy to be in the Nutcracker for her ballet school again this year. She played the part of a candy cane. We are so proud of her. What a lot of dedication and time that takes. She is still enjoying playing the piano and has started playing rec basket ball. She is a huge help with Trigg.
Crew is loving playing basketball right now, and he is also practicing on a comp baseball team that will begin playing in the spring. Wow, 1st grade has been so good for him. He is a little sponge. He is reading and doing great at spelling. He is a favorite of his teacher. He is so obedient in class. Still very shy and does not like the attention on him directly. He is having a birthday soon. In Jan. he will turn 7.
Ari is 4 1/2 going on 12. She is so fun to be with. I love spending the day with her. She goes to preschool 2 times a week for a couple of hrs. I am so glad that I did not rush her into school and being gone from. I have realized how fast they grow up. She makes us laugh! She is in ballet and loves going with one of her best little friends. Some of her favorite things are: my old cell phone, dresses, her blanket, to snuggle up on the couch, sleeping with Lyr, and long hair. Yes, she has decided that she needs a long ponytail... great, there goes the cute little bob for now.
Trigg turned 1 on Nov. 22. I am still having a very hard time with this part of my life. He has started walking and saying a few words and is a great copy cat. He loves, loves his daddy. and tolerates his brothers kisses. He is a horrible eater, turning into a better sleeper. He got tubes in after way to many ear infections. He got so sick a couple of weeks ago with the hand foot, mouth virus. I even took him to the emergency room one night after not drinking or eating anything for 2 days. He had big white blisters in his mouth, a temp, a horrible rash that turned into blisters on his hands and feet. It was so so bad. After about 8 days he did get better, then Crew got it. He was very sick. My Dr. said the worst hes seen.
My sis is getting married on Jan. 7 so we have been planning a wedding. I am so excited for her. Jus did an awesome job taking her bridal pics. He is a man with many talents. I am so proud of him. His business is doing great. A lot of late nights. He is running it solo, and I am really going to start helping him as soon as he has time to show me what I can help with. I love seeing him happy doing what he loves. I am a very lucky person with a perfect family. I only feel void in my life everyday missing my Mom, but thank goodness I have these little miracles to keep me busy!! I hope that all of you have a very Merry Christmas!

Ari Belle

Ari was so fun to watch getting her picture taken. She made up all of her own poses and was dancing around loving the cute outfits.

It was so hard to just put on a few, so I just kept adding more. They turned out amazing!!

JeNeal Martinez took these pictures of Ari and Trigg. She did an amazing job. I appreciate all the time she spent on these. Thank You Again, JeNeal!!

Crew lost a tooth

We have a tradition, Uncle JD pulls out the 1st tooth. He uses floss.

Crew was still a little shocked in this pic, but there is the tooth on the floss...

Thanks so much Uncle JD!!

Checking himself out in the mirror. Crew is such a cutie. Here we go again starting this awkward stage with another child.

Trigg's Blessing Day

On Trigg's blessing day, Crew was able to draw the outside of the program for sacrament meeting. He did a great job!

Justin blessed Trigg on Mar. 8, 2009. He seems so big since he is 3 1/2 months old. We wanted to wait until the dead of winter was over. What a great day. We were surrounded by our family who we both love. They make us who we are today. I was so proud of Justin and the amazing blessing he gave Trigg. We are so very thankful for the gospel and the direction that it plays in our lives. We would never be able to raise these sweet spirits without this knowledge that we have.
Thanks to all our family who supported us on this day. We love you all very much!!

"Our Family" Lyrik 8 1/2, Trigg 3 1/2 mon. Crew 6, Ari 3 1/2 years

Lyrik's Habitat

For one of Lyrik's projects in school, she was able to form her own habitat for an animal of her choice. She chose a Lion and did a report on it and made a Grassland for it to live. This was very fun for her. When they were finished the school had a parade where all the classes could go around to all the 3rd grade classrooms and look at the different habitats that they put together. We were so proud of her. She did this all by herself in class.

Lyrik and Crew enjoying the Harlem Globetrotters

On Monday Justin took the kids and went to the game with Grandpa, JD and Deakin. Its fun for Justin to create the same memories with our kids that he had growing up.
