Lyrik had the oppertunity to be in the Nutcracker that her ballet school puts on at Weber State. She had to tryout and was so excited when she made it. She was a Gingerbread and got to be picked up by one of the mice. What a big production this was. The parents of the girls each had to chaparone 2 night of the performance, along with be on a comittee. Thanks to my sister Ashley who took my place as a chaparone. We were due to have our baby on the last day of the performance and were hoping to make it until then so we would not miss out on seeing Lyrik in this performance. She was so greatful to be in the Nutcracker. Not all the girls who are in the school get to be in it. Lyr loved everything about this week. It was a lot of work. She was going to ballet 2 nights a week and also 1 time on Sat. We are so proud of her and all her hard work. She truely made us so proud when she was on stage.
Thanks so much to all our family and friends that supported her. Thanks to her Dad who had to stop his normal Sat. outing to the farm to get her to her practice on Sat.
